Where Little Hands Build Big Ideas.
Your preschooler builds a 3D model of a frog, a race car, or a wind turbine — and along the way picks up real science and engineering vocabulary without even trying.
Big Builders is designed for the youngest learners. Kids use colorful, flexible building pieces to construct models that connect to the world around them — animals, vehicles, buildings, even space. It's hands-on, it's age-appropriate, and it's the kind of thing that turns a curious kid into a confident one.
Each session starts with a fun, short discussion about a real-world topic — maybe how frogs grow, how bridges stay up, or why birds fly south. Then kids get their own building set and step-by-step instructions to construct that day's 3D model.
Once they finish the base build, they're encouraged to get creative — add to it, change it, make it their own. At the end of class, kids take their models apart and organize the pieces back into their kit — which is a sneaky way to build responsibility and fine motor skills at the same time.
🧼 All equipment is sanitized between sessions, classes are kept small, and every instructor is NCSI-screened and SafeSport certified.
Science and engineering ideas delivered at just the right level — through building, stories, and play.
Kids also build vocabulary, confidence, and fine motor skills — all while having fun with other kids their age.
Kids come home using words like "pollination" and "architecture" and actually knowing what they mean. Big Builders gives your child a real head start on STEM thinking — but in a way that feels like playtime. They build confidence, they build friendships, and yeah — they build some pretty cool stuff too.
We're launching Big Builders in the Charlotte area soon. Want to be the first to know? Get in touch and we'll let you know as soon as classes open up.
