Building the next generation of engineers, coders, and problem-solvers.
STEMClassesCharlotte was founded by Boris, a passionate technologist and parent who believes every child deserves access to high-quality STEM education.
Based in the south Charlotte area, we bring hands-on engineering and coding classes directly to schools and community centers in Matthews, Ballantyne, and Waxhaw — making it easy for families to give their kids a head start in STEM.
Our programs are developed by Young Engineers®, a global STEM education organization operating in over 50 countries with more than 30,000 students worldwide.
The Young Engineers® curriculum has been recognized by Harvard School of Education and the European Union Commission for its innovative approach to teaching engineering, coding, and robotics to children.
Every class uses proprietary materials including Algobrix® tangible coding blocks and Genius® construction parts — designed specifically for young learners.
Kids build real models and write real code every class. No lectures, no worksheets — hands-on from minute one.
Education through entertainment. Kids have so much fun they don't realize how much they're learning.
Small class sizes and collaborative projects build communication skills and self-confidence.
We take the health and safety of every child seriously — it's not an afterthought, it's built into how we run every class.
All building kits and equipment are thoroughly sanitized between sessions.
Every child gets personal attention from the instructor.
Nut-free and allergen-aware classroom environment.
Clear procedures — kids are only released to authorized adults.
First aid supplies on hand at every session.
All instructors are screened by NCSI and SafeSport certified — comprehensive training for adults working with minors.
Whether you're a parent looking for after-school enrichment or a school wanting to add STEM to your programs — we're here to help.
